What We Do

RECYCLING AND THE CIRCULAR ECONOMY

The majority of the waste oil in the U.K is still burned as a heavily polluting fuel. We are working hard to put a stop to that and ensure that as much is put back to good use as possible.

On the 1st October 2020, the law changed so that when waste oils are intentionally used as a fuel this is no longer classed as recycling. Waste Oils can only be recycled by re-refining them to produce a lubricating base oil that can be used to manufacture new lubricants. What happens to the waste oil that you produce? Have you checked to see where it is consigned to? We can guarantee that the waste oil we collect will be re-refined and recycled.

Furthermore, at a time when it is becoming increasingly necessary to minimise the production of virgin oil products, recovering and recycling the base for all lubricants makes perfect sense.

ALL of the waste oils that we collect are re-refined through a process of high temperature vacuum distillation. Producing clean, clear and bright distillates free of any contamination for sale back into the lubricants market.
